Taking a career break

Jenny Richardson, an English teacher, has been back at work for a year after the birth of her third child. She's finding it difficult to juggle work and childcare and has decided to take a career break until her youngest starts school. She examined while on maternity leave and found it a great way of staying in touch with her subject. She hopes that examining will also help her keep abreast with planned changes to the examination system while she's on leave.
